WHY

Buying a journal didn’t give me the satisfaction or features I wanted so I decided to make my own. For ten years I crafted and reimagined this same form in new styles.

WHAT

I designed this journal to suit my dream standards. Long enough to last through a phase of life and short enough to fit in most bags. Pure white pages.

The coptic binding style allowed the binding to lay flat for drawing across both pages.

HOW

All materials are prepared and the binding sewn by hand. Most papers I made by hand from sourced or repurposed fibers. Cotton, Abaca, flax or cotton from my old clothes.
